Are you looking for a professional accountant to complete a cheap self-assessment tax return for you? Churchill Knight Umbrella has an in-house self-assessment tax department that is ready to help you complete and submit your self-assessment return.
Remove the stress of a tax return
The task of completing a self-assessment tax return accurately and submitting it to HMRC by the 31st January each year can be a stressful and challenging task. However, if you ask a professional accountant to do it for you – you’ll be in the safest hands. Don’t forget, if you accidently provide some incorrect information or you miss the deadline, you face a fine from HMRC. Did you know that in the tax year 2015/16, over 800,000 people submitted a late tax return and as a result, all of these people faced an instant fine of £100 from HMRC?
Who needs to submit a personal tax return (self-assessment tax return)?
According to HMRC, over 10 million self-assessment tax returns are completed each year before the deadline. This number is continuing to rise because more and more people are required to submit one. If you fall under any of the categories below, you may be required to complete a self-assessment tax return. If you are unsure, please give our friendly team a call on 01707 871622 and they will be happy to assist.
- You are self-employed.
- You pay the higher rate of tax.
- You are a director of a limited company and receive payments as dividends.
- You rent out your property or a second property.
- You receive foreign income (this is still relevant even if you don’t live in the UK).
- You have sources of untaxed income, capital gains or losses.
- You have your own pension or specific savings.
- You have other sources of untaxed income specified by HMRC.
- You are an umbrella company employee with additional sources of income.
Do you have any additional sources of income?
