SafeRec
Churchill Knight Umbrella is proud to be a SafeRec certified umbrella company. SafeRec is a leading provider of AI-powered payslip auditing software that has transformed how umbrella companies showcase transparency within the supply chain. As a SafeRec certified umbrella company, every payslip we process is audited in real-time, and a report is immediately emailed to our employees. This allows them to check that we have processed their payroll compliantly and transparently and that no malpractice or illegitimate deductions have occurred. Our umbrella employees can also log in to Payslip Buddy and view historic payslip audits.
Churchill Knight Umbrella has always prioritised compliance, and SafeRec helps us prove that we’re paying our employees correctly, allowing them total peace of mind. This level of transparency has never been seen in the sector, and we’re delighted to offer it to our employees so they can focus on their temporary assignments with the confidence that they are being paid as they should be (PAYE). IWORK
Founded by Julia Kermode, Independent Work Ltd brings together all the different ways that people work independently in the UK—from temporary agency workers to freelancers, contractors, self-employed, or gig economy workers. These are all increasingly important to the UK’s economy.
Before the pandemic, some 23% of the UK’s workforce worked independently, not in permanent employment. IWORK champions this way of working, which, done properly, brings significant benefits to both businesses and individuals choosing to work in this way.
IWORK’s mission is to share expert knowledge with agency workers, umbrella employees, self-employed professionals, contractors, and freelancers. The IWORK website is an extremely useful resource, with plenty of helpful information, videos, and podcasts.

Our employee portal and app (powered by My Digital) make it easy for workers to submit or upload timesheets, view their payment history and download their payslips, P60s and P45s.
